Description: Near Mint Vintage 1930s Ideal 16" Composition Shirley Temple Doll - Curly Top Dress! Great Christmas gift idea!! This near mint composition Ideal Shirley Temple doll from the 1930s is a rare find for collectors. Measuring 16 inches in length and made of composition material, this doll features hazel eyes and her very full original mohair wig. She comes dressed in her minty original knife-pleated blue dancing dress (from the movie "Curly Top"), onesie/slip, and original shoes/socks. Her composition is in excellent condition with no crazing (see NOTE below)!! She has crackled/sealed eyes and a small repair on her right foot - but she is otherwise minty! The doll is signed by Ideal and is all original. I have owned and/or restored well over a hundred composition Shirley Temple dolls, and I consider this doll to be exceptional!! NOTE: While taking additional photos of her, I saw in a closeup shot that she has a tiny hairline crack under her left eye (only detectable with closeup photography). It is the only blemish I have found on this beauty besides her repaired foot. But, due to this, I am reducing her price by $100 to $695.
