Packaged for travel in a handy small format and fully functional, the model railway layout simply travels along with you in a small package.This beautiful Z-gauge summer layout offers a lot of driving pleasure in a small space. The varied railway line leads over an imposing viaduct and through the valley. At the centre of the complex is a pretty little village with 13 buildings of which 11 are illuminated. Thanks to the two traction circuits two trains can be run independently of each other on isolated circuits. Note changes below in the circuits and power controller.Layout size is 710mm (28") x 508mm (20") x 178mm (7") with all scenery. Upgrades, Changes and AdditionsIncluded is Smart Analog single circuit controller with short circuit protection and acceleration and decceleration control. It controls both circuits at the same time, but with the turnouts set properly you can run two trains if needed. If needed the two circuits are isolated so the user can access the two track feeds on the top of the layout and a second controller such as a second portable Snail controller could be added to controll the two circuits independently.All turnouts on the layout are manually controlled.11 of the buildings are lighted and street lights have been added to add realizm. Layout includes autos and people have been added to the layout. The lighting is controlled by a switch on the controller area in the upper right corner of the layout.Layout is installed in the wooden storage and carrying case. The top of the case can easily removed using the slide apart hindges on the bottom of the case. It is anchored in the base of the case with two screws on the side of the box which screw into the base for security. The layout can be easily operated while secured in the base. When the screws are removed the layout can be lifted from the carrying case using 2 screw-in handles on the sides (included) to allow the lifting of the layout.
