Description: From online 2021 reviews of this Moister-light-pH Tester,,,,,,For the price, a decent product as I read that these types of metres will work to give a pH value only if the soil is combined with water and is quite moist. So, I tried with dry potting soil and soil from an area of my garden which I am pretty sure is acidic. (results 7.5 ish) and damp soil (result 6.5 or so which is in line with the soil specs for both). I then combined potting soil with apple cider vinegar and retested (result 5.5). I also tried with diluted apple cider vinegar (result about 5 which is well off the correct result) RE moisture, I tried with dry soil and various levels of wetness. While I am not sure that the readings for pH are accurate, they give a good sense if my soil will be o/s the acceptable range. THe moisture scale seemed pretty good. For the price, I'd say a good value ------- I barely used this Soil Prong once thus, it's in pristine condition like new for this Double-needle detection Tech. Both portable & Lt Wt.
