Description: For Sale is one Genuine GM Big Block Dipstick and Tube. The tube is curved and measures 16 5/8" from the top of the tube to where it meets the bottom tube. The dipstick has the sought after yellow tip, and measures 21 3/8" from end of the stick to where it meets up to the top of the tube. This is the set that was used on a lot of the high performance engines. As everyone knows through the years these BBC have been transplanted from muscle cars to VW bugs to 5 Engine tractors, so as far as I know GM and after market companies made different oil pans so this can affect how the dipstick reads, so please do your homework, and make sure you know the length of the dipstick you need. On the dipstick it reads add one quart full use SE engine oil and has the part number. I also have a red tip stick, that looks just like the yellow one only it's a red instead of yellow, and it's longer (measures 24 5/8" from the end of the stick to where it meets up to the top of the tube), and it can be exchanged for the yellow if you need the longer one.
