Description: This listing is for a pair of vintage bookends manufactured by Nuart Co, copyright 1928. They featured the classic Rodin sculpture, The Thinker. They are approximately 9" tall and HEAVY. The bookends are in very good condition. There are some "spots" on the finish though we are unsure if if is from time, wear, etc or if the spots were there from new. They are great looking. At some point a previous owner thought it was important to put her return address labels on the bottom of each bookend. Just guessing but in case they got lost the finder would know where to return them. We have left the labels as it just seemed to add to the character and how much they meant to someone. Clean and ready to display. No funk, no gunk, no stink. Check out our store for more great items. We will combine items to save on shipping. We use recycled shipping materials whenever possible.
