Barnes, B.Sc., B.A., Ph.D., D.Sc., F.R.S.E., The Marine Station, Millport, Scotland, with 110 photographic and other illustrations and graphs. It was published by George Allen & Unwin Ltd., of London, in 1968 and is the third impression of the 1959 FIRST EDITION. The contents include: · Sampling the Living Organisms· The Use of Sound Waves· Some Properties of the Water Itself· Photography and Television The book measures 8.75 inches x 5.75 inches and has 218 pages (including illustrations). The book is in good neat condition for its age, with minor wear/bumps to the original cloth hardback cover, with a vintage oval stamp of the Calshot Activities Centre at the front and no other ink or pencil markings in the book. The binding is very good with no loose or missing pages. There is no dust-jacket. A wonderfully illustrated vintage edition.
