Description: This is a pair of OEM GM cylinder heads for a Big Block Chevy Engine. The casting number on each head is 3993820. These heads were used on a variety of 1971 396 and 454 applications. These heads would be a great foundation for your stock or performance build. These heads are a blank canvas and you are the artist. These heads are in good stock core condition as shown. They just came out of the estate of a long time machine shop owner and performance enthusiast. These were in his personal stash. They have been checked for checks with none found and are guaranteed to be good rebuildable cores. These heads look to be completely stock as shown with no porting. One head has a helicoil in one accessory bolt thread one end of the head. If this bothers you, this end of the head could simply face towards the rear of the engine.
