The boards are scuffed and rubbed all over; edges are rubbed and frayed; corners rubbed and frayed. The spine has been reinforced with blue buckrum tape with white ink handwritten titling and library call number. Page edges are tanned and spotted. Book has usual library markings and property stamps in several places and inside back cover. Dustjacket flap was clipped and pasted inside front cover (see photo). Hinges and binding square and tight, no loose pages. Text pages clean, no writing noted. Charming illustrations head each chapter (see photos of examples).5.5" x 8.25" 242 p. Frank Bunker Gilbreth, Jr. (1911-2001) was a journalist and author of the autobiographical bestseller, "Cheaper by the Dozen," (1948), basis for several later films.
