Description: We have an old wood bench rest gun stock for sale that we don’t know much about It is made for a very heavy, wide and thick barrel we guess for target shooting. It probably may need fitting to fit particular gun. And it does need refinishing. That being said it is solid and looks to be nice walnut wood. It measures 33 inches long and the distance between the screw holes for mounting is 6 1/2” center to center. The trigger well hole is 3 1/4” in length. The bolt handle slot is angled slightly. Please note pictures. WE SET A REMINGTON .243 CALIBER MODEL 700 ACTION IN IT AND SCREW HOLES MATCH AND BOLT HANDLE NOTCH MATCHES. IT WAS A TIGHT FIT AROUND THE RECEIVER AREA.SO WE THINK IT MAY TAKE SOME FITTING. IT EVIDENTLY IS MADE FOR A VERY HEAVY THICK BULL BARREL, NOT A STANDARD BARREL It has a USA made butt plate on it by “WHITE LINE NO SLIP BUTT PLATE” We bought some of these stocks from the estate of a local gunsmith. Don't know much about them. We do not ship gun parts outside the USA WE WILL ACCEPT REASONABLE OFFER.
