Description: This listing is for an older, vintage large felt Northwestern University pennant, with the university seal illustrated, and with tassals, two of which have been trimmed and reduced in size. The tallest part of the pennant (on the left side) measures 10.5 inches vertically, and the pennant measures 27 inches horizontally. The bottom two tassals are each 3.5 inches long; the top two tassals have been trimmed to 1.5 inches in length. This pennant shows it originally was produced by the New York Pennant Co. (Please see photo # 5 at the bottom left of the seal.) I personally have had this pennant around 50 years, and it was not new when I got it.) Although the pennant is soft felt and vintage, I would prefer to ship the pennant flat to the new owner although it is $5-$6 more to ship the pennant flat. I find that shipping flat assures no new wrinkles are imposed upon the pennant; and your investment is certainly worth that small additional cost.
