OOAK Custom Barbie, Pink Highlights, Handmade Outfit, 65th Anniversary Pop Star

Description: I purchased this 65th Anniversary Pop Star Barbie new for customization. The doll comes with pink highlights, but she was missing half of them, appearing as though they'd been ripped out. I used my own hand dyed yarn (100% merino wool) and rooted the pink highlighted areas of the hair with it. While the texture is different between the doll's hair and the softness of the yarn, they appear similarly, and my hand dyed yarn gives a nice pop of color to this doll's look. Her face was wiped with acetone and repainted, all of the painted areas having been sealed afterwards with an acrylic based sealer. Her outfit is handmade from my own hand dyed fabric. Please note that in some photos, the pink appears more vivid than it does in real life due to my phone camera! This listing includes the doll, her outfit and accessories.
