Description: 2 quart bag (approx 2.70 pounds or 2 liters) of Hydroton expanded clay balls. This is a great product for growing orchids, air to moisture level is ideal around roots, long lasting and Hydroton clay pebbles are made from pH neutral clay. Used a great deal to mix with Orchid media such as bark, coco chip etc. Many orchids do great with Hydroton as the only media in terrarium environments where humidity levels are very high. Fantastic for plants that need less moisture consistently . We use these with many of our Cattleya and Brassavola mixed with larger pieces of bark. Also can be used as a bottom layer to pots to help water to drain unobstructed. Great for compots etc where root moisture is needed at a higher level but also needing some air movement to stop rot, fungus mold etc at the base. Last photo is a measurement scale so you have an accurate way to see the conversion. It can be extremely confusing when looking up products when quart/liter is used.
