Description: Lawrence "Larry" Volk (American/California, 1951) This is original artwork - mixed media on paper; signed "Volk 90©"Volk was considered the "Miro of the 80's" and his work is many museums, galleries and in both public and private collections. He was selected by the Cultural Society of Paris to participate in the biannual International exhibition in Paris, France where they honored him by selecting his artwork for the poster announcing the exhibition. Vibrant and colorful - this piece depicts abstracted forms in a variety of bright colors with thick black outlines. Comes in a light colored, solid wood frame.I picked this piece up, along with several other original pieces by Volk, at a collector's estate auction here in Minneapolis. Dimensions: 22.5"W x 26.5"T x 2"D in.
