Comes with nice hard plastic protective case as shown! :-) This ORIGINAL factory card works great in my Alesis QSR and is made for the entire QuadraSynth line of Synthesizers by Alesis including any of the QS6, QS7, and QS8 models as well as the DG8 Digital Piano, Quadrasynth Plus Piano and S4 Plus Any original Alesis Qcard will work FINE with the Quadrasynth Plus Piano and S4 Plus Sound Modules. All QCards also will also work fine with the ORIGINAL Quadrasynth keyboard and the ORIGINAL S4 Rackmount Sound Modules, HOWEVER you MUST load a Special Preset Bank into the User Bank first in order for a QCard to work with the ORIGINAL Quadrasynth/S4, and your operating system must be version 1.07 or higher. So, if you own the ORIGINAL Quadrasynth or S4, it may not be very practical for you unless you have the upgraded QS PLUS Piano or the S4+ model.
