Description: Very rare Original Antique Napoleonic Period ca. 1800 French Infantry or Naval Officers Sword Sabre in good complete condition. Guard and grip with slight movement, as the wooden grip is cracked, but all is holding together well. The blade shows typical engravings, but is also quite stained and with some pitting. The black leather scabbard is damaged and worn. Please see photos for general condition. Overall length is 81 cm, the blade is 67 cm long. No marks or maker visible.
