It is in excellent condition with no stains or damage. It is signed on the back (see photo) with Swenson's information as well as her agent who represented her. Valerie Swenson is an American Postwar & Contemporary artist who was born in 1907.She wrote and illustrated many books about nature and also created many fine paintings and prints - woodblocks and silkscreens. Swenson, while born in Kansas City, MO,, worked in the Hudson Valley and lived in Shandhaken NY. Following her death I was able purchase a large assortment of her artwork.
