Description: Bela Sziklay's original hand-coloured etching, "Ponte Rialto" (Rialto Bridge, Venice, Italy) is printed upon wove paper and with large margins as created around 1935 - 1940. This impression is singed, titled and annotated, 'Aquaforte originale' (original etching), in pencil along the lower margin. The etching depicts a typical busy day along the Grand Canal, Venice with a view of the Ponte Rialto, the bridge that connects the districts of San Polo and San Marco. Here we see people walking across the bridge while gondolas pass under this ancient architecture. "Ponte Rialto" is a fine, original example of the landscape & architectural art created by the Hungarian artist, Bela Sziklay. Original etching signed.
