Description: You are purchasing an original Kodachrome 64 slide of NJT Newark City Subway 1946-vintage PCC #24 approaching Orange Street station in Newark, NJ on Wednesday afternoon, September 27, 2000. These PCC cars were purchased used from Minneapolis, MN in 1952. This equipment was retired on August 24, 2001 and replaced by brand-new (slower) LRV cars.
