Description: A vintage pastel portrait by the listed and well known British artist Mabel Gear who painted animals, mostly dogs. Purchased at the William Doyle Galleries (see photo of receipt) in 2001 and never hung. The .5” frame is inconsequential and this painting really deserves a reframing. Any anomalies in my photos are a result of reflection on the glass.
