Description: Wonderful original Mono-Print by Priscilla Hoback. The Frame is much bigger than the artwork so there will be three sizes. Frame: 47.5" x 36" x 1" There isn't a matte on this, the paper itself is: 43.5" x 30.5" The artwork itself is: 35.5 " x 23.5" This can be reframed to a smaller size by you if you want, or shipped out of the frame inexpensively. Great New Mexican artist that is no longer alive. *Please note that the frame is very heavy metal. I would recommend you ask me to take it out of the frame and if it can be rolled up, ship it in a tube. If it can't be rolled up it can be shipped flat in a box. The shipping cost otherwise is quite pricey. If you ask me to remove it from the frame and ship it as inexpensively as possible, I will do it. Please contact me with any questions. Priscilla Hoback 1939 - 2018The murals are visual stories telling of familiar animals and unusual experiences that have quickened my heartbeat with fear or love. Some are from dream time and half-remembered images when humans, animals, gods, and the elements lived without hierarchy. Others are personal myths from kingdoms of alchemical minerals and symbolic animals, fused together into one totality. –Priscilla Hoback, Living ClayPriscilla Hoback worked as an artist in New Mexico for more than half a century — her hands in clay and desert earth. A native Santa Fean, Hoback used the wild clays and natural pigments from around her farm in Galisteo, New Mexico, to create pottery and stoneware murals. Inspired by her garden, horses, and the wilderness around her home, Hoback’s work is expressive and playful, original and timeless, contemporary and primal.
