Pair of WWII Army Air Force CPL Rank w/ Winged Props #1 Click images to enlarge Description These are an ORIGINAL pair of silver embroidered stripes on dark blue cotton twill fabric Corporal rank stripes, sometimes worn on AAF uniforms in WWII, which were purchasable at PX's or insignia shops. Although non-regulation, these stripes were widely worn during the War by AAF personnel of various ranks [Emerson, Chevrons, p.187]. The stripes are in VERY GOOD+ condition, with the bottom seam on the left rank coming unsewn but repairable. The stripes are ready to sew on a service blouse, Ike jacket or khaki or OD shirt. The buyer will have my usual unconditional guarantee of authenticity and satisfaction and a five-day (not the 14-days that they insert in my listings without my consent) right of inspection and return/refund privilege, excluding postage.
