Description: Original WW2 Royal Canadian Army Cadets metal hat badge. King's Crown. Hollow die struck manufacture. Measures approximately 1 7/16" across. Good detail. Like too many Canadian badges I see, there is corrosion of the base metal that discolors the gilt plating. I do not know why these badges are so prone to this. Anyway, there are dark spots overall. Priced accordingly. The integral fastening lugs are present, but missing the separate cot pin. Easily replaced. You are buying the material pictured.
