Description: Up for sale is a very nice KABAR fighting knife that would have been issued to a sailor during WW2. It is getting harder and harder to find the early leather stapled sheaths for these knives. The nary marked knives were also later on issued with Bakelite sheaths to replace the leather. This knife is solid and in nice condition. The leather sheath is very fine also. The sailor also initialed the sheath with the letter “M”. Great piece of history and will display nicely in your collection! Please look over all the pictures carefully to judge the item for yourself.
