Description: >Offered here is an old and original 1988-89 University of OREGON DUCKS still-wrapped basketball poster!! Please see all four photos, as they are an important part of my description. This rather scarce sports poster, now over 35 years old, was issued by the U. of O. for the 1988-1989 college basketball season. Visible through the plastic wrap is reference to Oregon's historic basketball arena, McArthur Court. The season's game schedule is also visible as well. It appears there are a few color photographs present on the poster (collage-style), with center Bret Coffey clearly visible. The poster measures 18" wide; the length of poster is unknown due to it still being wrapped but an educated guess would be 24". I highly doubt you will see another anytime soon... >History: the 1988-89 Oregon Ducks basketball team was coached by Don Monson. The team finished with a 16-14 record, and 5th in the old Pac-10 Conference with a 10-8 record (which was considered a successful season back then). The Ducks were led by future N.B.A. player and Beaverton, Oregon product Anthony Taylor (Miami Heat), who averaged 21.3 ppg and was an All-Pac 10 performer. Also on the team: Frank Johnson, Randy Grant, Keith Balderston, Bret Coffey, Steve Ranniger, Rick Osborn, Tony Hargain (two-sport athlete who played wide receiver on the football team), Jeff Crawford, Richard Lucas, Greg Senior, Mike Helms and David Blair <>Condition: this vintage basketball poster appears to be in very *Fine Shape* overall...nice!!!
