Description: Here is a beautiful ornate antique Wilcox silver plate glove box or jewelry casket. On the bottom it is hallmarked Wilcox Silver Plate Co. Quadruple Plate Meriden Conn. 1794 (I do not believe this is a date I think it is a model number). On the top of the lid it has a floral repousse design and in the center it is monogrammed "Tillie". Around the outer sides it has an imprinted landscape scene. The inside is lined with orange satin fabric. I do not have a key to lock it. It measures 3 1/2 inches high, a little over 11 inches across and about 3 1/2 inches front to back. This lovely piece is being sold as is because it has heavy patina and on the bottom there are a lot of surface scratches, this will not be seen when displayed.
