Description: LARGE PHOTOS BELOWVintage CHALKWARE FIGURE STATUE - OUR LADY OF IMMACULATE CONCEPTIONVintage, 1940's/50s, Portuguese handpainted chalkware statue with glass eyes of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception with very long hair and very nice movement of the cloths standing on clouds with winged Angel heads and with moon crescent and on a small pedestal. Polychrome with golden relief trim around the mantle. Please note the mark seen on the back of the head is of the cut that was made for the insertion of the glass eyes. These statues were made and a piece of the head was cut so that they could put the glass eyes. Afterwards the piece was glued and painted Size: total circa 8.07 inches = 205 mm high / circa 2.56 inches = 65 mm width at the widest part / Weight: 248gr Condition: Please see pictures.
