Description: Oval Storage Box Maps Design. This box is reminiscent of a 1920s shirt collar storage box, though its age and origan are unknown. This box has four little metal rounded feet on which it stands. The box is 7.5” wide at the widest and stands from table to top of latch 7.5” tall. The exterior is 2.75” deep. Interior lid depth is .75” and the base 1.25”. The box is constructed of a core board cover in heavy weight material with a map design. The stitched accent trim which has some nicks and scuffs. the box is lined with a “felt” like material. It has a nice functioning metal latch and hinges. This cute piece of kitsch would work well in any masculine, nautical, Hogwarts, vintage or steampunk décor. Great for stashing trinkets or just as a display item.
