Description: A pair of tiny aluminum “time capsules” which screw apart to reveal a cavity in which a message can be hidden. Tiny rolls of paper are speckled beige, original to the time capsules, and measure about 2 & 5/8” when unrolled. Both papers are blank and unused. Alternatively, papers can be removed and replaced with any improbably minuscule keepsakes you may have for use as a real, really small time capsule. Inside cavity measures approx. 4 mm wide x 16 mm long. Time capsules measure 22 mm x 8 mm. These were purchased in the California Academy of Sciences, San Francisco gift shop in 1999. Capsules and papers show a small amount of wear consistent with being 25 years old but generally in good condition. **Choking hazard! Not for small children.
