The PAL Ade was licensed through and by the Tru-Ade soda company. PAL Ade was the first grapefruit flavored soda well before Wink and Freska which came into the markets later in the 1960s. You can find out more in the "History of Tru Ade" website. The emerald green PAL Ade bottles were quite rare as the large majority were produced in the common clear glass variation.
