Description: A pair of beautiful Chinese cloisonne vases. The metal is unknown but looks like bronze. The vases are decorated with symbolic clouds, Chrysanthemums, plants, and matching scaled creatures that look like dragons. The enamel colors on the vases range from cobalt to turquoise to black, outlined in gold , with bands of gold at the tops and encircling the rounded middles. These vases were collected from China in the 1960s. The age is unknown. Each is a bit over 12 inches in height. The widest round parts are difficult to measure, estimate is 7 inches. The condition is good, with areas of missing gold gilt, wear to the enamel on the bottom of the vases, and some crystallized metal on the bottom of the vases.
