Issue with the power button repaired -- Button now works normally2. Defective components replaced as required to achieve proper operation3. Corrected output transistor current balance to this less 5% bank matched at 100 W RMS output4. Corrected issue of extremely dim standby LED circuit caused by factory install of wrong component5. Set idle current so that crossover distortion at 20 KHz was not visible on our scope6. Checked frequency response after service from 100 Hz to 10 KHz -- found to be fairly equal and flat7. Checked output levels were correct to the THX standard8. Cleaned all switches and level pots9. Checked power output, 1 channel driven, at 1 KHz into 8 Ohms, and it is 203 W RMS and 206 W RMS for the right and left channel, respectively, at onset of clipping (After service and checkout, power output is quite a bit more than the specs for this amplifier)10.
