Description: FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE...! Purchased decades ago at the famous Indian Market in Santa Fe New Mexico, found in an estate liquidation on Madeira Island Portugal. American Peace Dollar fragment encapsulated in a silver bezel. The coin had been mutilated and only the face or a slice of the coin was mounted. The bezel has no purity markings and is being offered as "silver toned" since it has not been tested for sterling. The coin face has heavy wear and several abrasions. It is dated 1923. In the bezel, it measures 2 1/8ths inches. The pendant was fabricated by a Native American craftsman. Please note....... the coin had been cut in half. Only the front face is present. MUCH OBLIGED
