Battery operated only It takes 1 regular AA batteries, not the button type, so you can replace them on the road easily at a hotel gift shop. The battery cover is located in the back of the clock towards the bottom and it is very easy to remove and return. The AA battery pops in nicely and is able to last over 6 months and will be still going strong. 5-minute snooze That button is nicely placed on the upper right-hand front corner, and when the alarm sounds, it’s also the button for a snooze delay.
