We recommend holding each windshield mounting peg individually, between the thumb and index finger, right where the peg joins the windshield face, to give the peg some added support when pressing on the washer with the other hand (using a slight, twisting, motion). Moistening the peg with water before installing the washer will help the installation and reduce the stress on each peg. ((Do not use oil)). You want the water to evaporate to leave a snug fit between the peg and washer in order to retain the windshield to the car.
