Description: Cartouche Pendant ~ 800 Silver & Rose Gold Egyptian Hieroglyphs The pendant is 2 1/4" long including the decorative bale. The hallmark on the back indicates that the silver is 80% pure. There is a very thin layer of rose gold on top of each character. The pendant was probably a made-to-order tourist item, as the hieroglyphs, when sounded, are the name Martha. The pendant is free of corrosion and dents. There is a bit of tarnish here and there. The pendant is hallmarked on the under side, indicating that it was made in Egypt.
