Length 19.5 cm (7.7") , with 2.5 cm (1")Weight 65g In very good vintage condition Pentti Sarpaneva (originally a graphic designer) started making jewelry in the 1950s, experimenting with recycled materials, concerned that jewelry should be affordable for ordinary people. In the mid sixties he became a designer for Kalevala Koru, and in 1967 for Turun Hopea Oy, where he became artistic director.
