Description: This is a rare petrified agatized wood limb branch specimen which has a druzy quartz hollow cavity on the cut and polished end which was collected from the Green River formation from the ancient now extinct Lake Gosiute in the Eden Valley area, Sweetwater County, Wyoming. Wyoming’s Lake Gosiute was a large crocodile-infested water body in a closed basin. This specimen is in great condition with a small minor repair and this piece measures 3.20 inches long by 2.38 inches wide.
