(AS-9138) rainbow/sky label (discontinued), matte hard cardboard gatefold cover with the original first press layout and Nat Hentoff liner notes inside, lined printed paper inner, DMM sticker up front (first batch only), made in Germany, condition cover: Near Mint (part ringwear backside), vinyl/labels: pristine Mint (actual pics shown, zoom over). Originally released 1967, Sanders (1940-2022) debut LP on Impulse right after Coltrane's band exploring spiritual elements from Arab and Hindu sources enabling Jazz with infinite possibilities of improvisation, piano sextet described by the British Jazz Journal "lifts the listener right out of his seat with its intensity", with the iconic back cover of a sax lifted in the form of unity ("tauhid") symbol of Black Unity, acoustic instruments vinyl proper only, out of print limited edition, rare in such condition.
