Description: Photograph Notes: Quite possibly the most audacious car park in the country. Id guess at the 1970s. The facade is composed of interlocking semi-diamond-shaped pieces of concrete with chamfered edges. One wouldnt want every car park to look like this, but the odd one is invigorating. Since submitting the photo I have found out via the Guardian that it was designed by Michael Blampied & Partners and built in 1968-69.
