Piper Cherokee "Style" Brake Reservoir Cap with dip stick

Description: Piper Cherokee "Style" Brake Reservoir Cap Piper Cherokee brake reservoir cap. This is not available as a cap only. The entire reservoir must be purchased from Piper and is currently nearing $1,000.00 even used ones bring 300.00 (see photo of an original)! This is ridiculous..I lost mine after checking the fluid level and getting flashlight to look down inside since there is not an dipstick. This part is an exact replica however, it is non FAA/PMA approved. The cap is steel just like the original and the vent tube is copper just like the original. This cap is not painted like others as we send them off to be powder coated. It will hold up better to the toxic brake fluid. It is the same fit, form, and function as the original Piper cap. The cap with an oil level dipstick is NOT the same as original. It is better :). It has the same venting capacity as it vents directly under the cap. It has a full mark cut into the dipstick so you wont have to get a flashlight to look down into the reservoir to see the fluid level and will be much harder to lose!! THIS auction is for the cap WITH dipstick. If you want the standard cap I have those as well. I will list them on additional auction. You can message me for details. Airworthiness of these caps is to be determined by the buyer and installer. Again, please note that this is a non-FAA/PMA approved part. It's "home made" with no paperwork.
