Original Cheshire Cat Patch Design Patch (History below) In 1972, a student team going through Pararescue School came up with this design as their team patch. They embraced the idea that "we're mad or a little crazy" to do a wild, challenging occupation like Pararescue. The cheshire cat was the character the chose to represent this theme on their patch. The cheshire cat still makes appearances on squadron and team morale patches to this day! This patch started it all. The Pararescue School house brought this historical design back to life as a PVC patch (original patch was cloth). This Patch is 4" tall, 3.25" wide, and has hook backing.
