The support on one side has two broken bats which have been partially repaired. Laser engraved on the front of the base is a likeness of Pokey Reese. Text below reads, "1999 Rawlings Gold Glove Award, Pokey Reese, Second Base - National League, Honoring His Selection as The Finest In The Field." The first of two consecutive Gold Gloves which Reese would earn for his defensive play. Includes letter of provenance from Pokey Reese stating that this was his original and only gold glove award given to him. Excellent and rare display piece.
