Description: Up for your consideration is a Portmeirion (England) Botanic Garden mug celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Botanic Garden line of products (1972-1997). The front side of the mug is decorated with a colorful depiction of the Cyclamen plant surrounded by various insects, including butterflies and a ladybug. The name Cyclamen Repandum - Cyclamen appears below the plant. The reverse side of the mug has a large green oval with the Portmeirion name in the center. Across the bottom section of this oval, there is a banner that reads: 1972 - BOTANIC GARDEN - 25th ANNIVERSARY - 1997. The mug stands 3 5/8 inches tall, measures 3 1/4 inches across the top, and weighs 10 1/2 ounces. The bottom is marked with the shield trademark that reads: THE BOTANIC GARDEN - circa 1818 - Susan Williams-Ellis - Portmeirion - Made in England - Dishwasher Proof - Oven to Table - Freezer & Microwave Safe. A small number 3 appears in green off to the side. The mug is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. There is a hint of wear to the unglazed rim of the base.
