This photograph lot is from the George H Schumacher family of which I purchased these at his daughters estate after she passed away. Her husband was Hoke Bullard, Jr., a long time decision in the town of Wilson North Carolina. George served in both World War I and World War II mostly as a quartermaster in the United States army. And one of the photos you can see the quartermaster building sign in the background. These photographs are all original as I purchased them straight from the estate. They may have creases and or other condition issues as shown in the photos. The photos include quartermaster officers, Mads Devens, 1921. 02 photos of his daughter dated May 15, 1921. An image of his daughter dated January 19, 1921 holding what appears to be a pom-pom. His daughter holding a jump rope and wearing a spectacular hat dated May 15, 1921 larger family issues playing in the yard include two children playing on a whiskey barrel. The family posing together with the youngest child and what appears to be a sailor outfit. Same young child in sailor outfit, posing with her dog, which appears to be a cocker spaniel. A young boy, with a sweater with a monogram “CA”, possibly to do with AYERS, the town where Fort Devens resides. The final two photographs are double image with the serviceman and possibly wives. A great image but I assume would be a Ford model T with the quartermaster himself. I will have several photographic listings of George Schumacher of his time of service in the United States Army, which include his time at Fort Devens from 1919-1921, the Panama Canal zone in 1925, the 1930’s in Atlanta, and throughout his service through World War II. . * PLEASE VIEW ALL PICTURES AS LIGHTING ON PRODUCT MAY VARY.
