Replace your worn or leaky factory coolant hose system with PPE’s Performance Silicone Coolant Hose Kit. Perfect for your stock or highly modified Duramax 6.6L diesel truck. Engineered for performance and durability, featuring 4-ply heat-resistant internal fibers that provide strength against high-pressures and temperatures. PPE’s Silicone Coolant Hose Kits incorporate TIG welded, polished 304 stainless steel “T” fittings that eliminate any chance of failures at the “T” junctions. Durable 5 mm thick silicone is twice as thick as the factory hose to ensure long-lasting performance. The quick-connect/disconnect (LBZ, LMM, LML) end is made from billet aluminum and 304 stainless steel. Stainless steel clamps ensure a tight fit that performs better than factory. The PPE Performance Silicone Coolant Hose Kit is a direct bolt-on upgrade that requires no cutting or modifications. Perfect factory fit with better-than-factory performance. The Mishimoto Chevrolet Duramax low-temperature thermostats activate at a lower temperature than the OEM thermostats, making them the perfect solution for Duramax owners who live in warmer climates or use their trucks under heavy load or strenuous driving conditions. Activating at a lower temperature means coolant will begin flowing through the system and allow for cooler temperatures. An ACDelco GM Original Equipment Radiator Cap is a spring loaded cap that seals the radiator filler neck or surge tank, and is a GM-recommended replacement for your vehicle’s original component. It maintains pressure on the cooling system while the engine is operating, which raises the boiling point of the engine coolant. It also replenishes the system with coolant from the expansion tank (if equipped) when the engine cools off. This original equipment radiator cap has been manufactured to fit your GM vehicle, providing the same performance, durability, and service life you expect from General Motors. ACDelco Dex-Cool Antifreeze Extended Life Coolant Concentrate is an orange, silicate and phosphate free, premium-grade coolant/antifreeze that is formulated with a chemical composition that reduces breakdown of metal components in contact with the fluid. Based on carboxylate technology, ACDelco Dex-Cool Antifreeze Extended Life Coolant Concentrate has the properties needed to optimize the efficiencies of the new hybrid vehicles.
