Original 1959 Barbie® Doll, Fashions & Package…doll and 3 outfits. Labelled a “Keepsake Collection” I see nothing on the box to indicate Hallmark is involved with this item. The doll is stunning! Still love this face more than the newer version. Strawberry blonde hair in a tall ponytail, big hoop earrings in her striped bathing suit. The outfits are great. The only flaw? I see within the package is the hoop earrings. I THINK they were a gold tone color originally and they have turned a darker color. Then the substance they use to, I guess, keep the top up has disintegrated. All else is great. The box (30 yrs old) does show a little wear, the typical worn corners/edges but really not too much of that. The plastic looks to be intact, no cracks, holes, the edges even look very good. The back of the box does show more wear but nothing too bad, a few creases, a little hole in the upper R around the Barbie logo. There are some marks within the verbiage, not sure of what they are but they, also, don’t look that bad. 2. 2004 NOS. #QHB6607. Hallmark/Barbie Gift Set, 45th Anniversary, 3 figurines/outfits ‘Friendship, Fashion & Fun’ theme. Three figurines of the original doll, different color hair, maybe different color eyes but all have on blue eye shadow. I am not certain of what they are made of; they almost look like porcelain but I would lean more towards a hard plastic or maybe, resin? Their features are hand-painted. the outfits are Barbie classics, I don’t quite recall my dolls dressing as sensibly as these, ha ha. Cute little gift for the collector, IMHO. The box is in very nice condition with very little in the way of flaws. Yes, you see the occasional worn edge or corner but no problems with the plastic, no rips/tears, the box looks good.
