Description: Pre-Civil War Militia Officers Sword with Brass Scabbard. The ricasso appears unmarked. The grip is a tiny bit loose, the crossguard is a little more, and the eagle on knights head pommel is also loose. The chain that connects the pommel to the crossguard has been removed at some point but I have it and it will be included, you can choose whether or not to get it re-attached. The grip is solid with a couple minor crackle lines. The etched blade is straight, unsharpened, some small nicks, and it has some age spots scattered throughout. The detailed brass scabbard is mostly solid with some dents/dings, a couple crease slices (one of which is getting weak), due to the dents/creases the scabbard isn't perfectly straight anymore and this makes the on/off extremely tight on the last 8-10" by the ricasso. Washer is intact. Length of the blade is 30 1/8" (1" wide and 1/4" thick), the sword is 37 5/16" and in the scabbard it is 37 13/16". Check out my other War items!!
