Description: Early primitive wood & wire chair. This chair features it's original wire bracing mounted underneath the plank-like seat and through the back rest of the chair. The seat is over an inch thick and has a very nice patina. The back is a bentwood with five decorative turned spindles all in good condition. The front legs and stretchers are turned and are also in good antique condition. Overall, this chair is in good antique condition with wear consistent with age and is certainly sturdy. It measures approximately 31"Tall x 16 1/4""Wide ,"Front to Back or Deep 16". From Floor to Seat and the Seat H is 16". These make great farmhouse or decor pieces.
