Description: Santa with Sheep This primitive rug hooking kit features Santa petting a sheep in a snowy night scene. The wool used for the Santa is hand-dyed, as well as the wool for the background. The rest of the rug is off the bolt wool. The pattern measures approximately 10” x 14” when hooked and is hand drawn on linen. I sew the edges to prevent them from fraying and I carefully draw the lines on the grain. When hooked it is perfect for a wall hanging, table top or can be made into a pillow. The kit contains: Pattern on linen 100% wool strips Picture of the finished rug to be used as a color guide Rug hooking instructions Rug binding Most of the strips are #8 cut (1/4”) but the strips for the eyes, eyebrows, and some of the face are #4 cut (1/8”).
