Description: You will not see another one like this!! This pitchfork shows incredible workmanship and design! Notice the curved handle and tines that comfortably fits your hands. This pitchfork was purchased at an auction more than 20 years ago made up of plantation items from an old sugar plantation in southwest Louisiana. This pitchfork was likely used in the 1800's by slaves and/or share croppers, but the attention to detail on this make it a true work of art!It could be a museum piece! One tine on the forks has been replaced but other than that it is all original. The tines are held in by wooden pegs and crafted metal adds additional reinforcement.
